Erik-Peter Mortensen / Bach to the Future / Triple Christmas Fugue in G-Deck the Halls-Eastern Winds
HiYou bring back a Baroque Era..I like to listen It all day ( if I have a Time )..I love a French Horn in some parts.. next time when You Compose Something like THAT.. Please make It much longer.. at this Point I Really do NOT CARE what "Music Industry" will say..Keep writing Music like that ..I'm sure that many people will love to hear That..( I listen it 4 times ).. I really think that You should pitch It to some Movie Studio.. I wish You Good Luck with submissions.. Fantastic Job ( on more personal note..Thank You for using French Horn in arrangement) ..
Oh yeah!!!To me classical music is the most brilliant of all.. all the different melodies in what each instrument brings to become one big wall of sound.. Just masterful...this piece is amazing, thanks for sharing your great talents. Tremendous.., and best of luck .
Review of Erik-Peter Mortensen; Triple Christmas Fugue in G-Deck the Halls-Eastern WindsThis is a professionally arranged classical piece. Mr. Mortensen has masterfully combined the wind instruments into a joyful frolick down the Christmas memory lane. Good sound, tasteful presentation photo. Two thumbs up.
Counter! This was a very enjoyable piece of music to listen to. I really enjoyed how the composer's counter melodies fit together with the original "familiar" themes. And the way he introduced each different instrument in a step forward fashion was very effective. The only thing that could possibly be thought as negative to me was the lack of space in the music. From the beginning, the music was uptempo and from then on, it just got more and more busy. Would have been nice to take a breath in the midst of it somewhere! Other than that, Bravo!!
Its music that puts you in a good moodThis would be good for a Victorian era / Charles Dickens Christmas Carol vibe type of movie. Of course it brings you joy because of the classic Christmas FaLaLaLaLa. Great production and performance
Great SongHey, awesome music! It has been some time since I heard to classical music. This song reminded me of Johann Sebastian Bach and other great composers too. Amazing! Keep up with the good musics!!
Every Day Can Be ChristmasAn opening with clarinet and oboe, french horn, flute that all melds into a very homogenous stream of "We Wish You a Merry Christmas". You will be transported to a place that brings memories of Christmases past and hopes for the following year. This is so well recorded that you get the feeling that you are in the room, feet away from the stage and enjoying the music just before you have to go to meet friends for a spiced wine and mince pie. Remember this for next year and find Erik's work on the net so you can download and save it for later.
Graceful Christmas ThemeBeautiful development of a graceful Christmas theme. Intelligent and entertaining contraptions have given an appearance at once majestic and classic to a well-known theme. All the voices of the woodwinds have balanced participation, without exaggeration. Very well arranged, executed, recorded and mixed. The final rall magnifies the piece even more, giving a dignified and imposing closure! Congratulations!
Traditional Melodies with New InterpretationsNice clarinet intro, and the rest of the instrumentation is also excellent. The balance is perfect even with frequencies all over the charts. Many instruments have a chance to shine. Occasionally a familiar melody will stand out and remind us of the season. That season and others could use more of Erik-Peter's creativity with traditional melodies and new interpretations. This is Classical Music with style. Keep it up Erik-Peter, your leaving your mark.
LearningHey sorry it took so long...just been busy working is all...now this production caught me off guard, but I must say that it is clear as ever. And it sound like you do sounds for cartoons...if so you'll always have a job I pray. Hey dude keep up the good work!
Erik-Peter Mortensen ReviewThis is track is nice. It has a nice smooth jazzy relaxing sound feel to it. The variety of instruments and transitions were great as well. Noting negative to add. Good work! This track has potentials for moving up the charts. Looking forward to more from the group.
AnotherOk you must really love Christmas to keep making these types of instrumentals (nothing is wrong with that) they are good but Christmas is once a year and not something we play often only close to that time. We feel you should adapt into making other beats besides Christmas make overs. If you can make a complicated Christmas instrumental you can make anything. Try it out
