"Coachman, take us to the ball at the Druvell Estate""Divertimento in E" is a beautiful, relaxed duet between violins and woodwind with the right amount of percussion in the background to have the overall main melody of the song drift by and would be very well suited for a colonial red coats v french movie as a grand entrance to a ball-dinner as the invited parties arrive at the great ball for the evening. This song also has a music box presence about it as i listen to it for the 3rd time and block out the percussion instrumentation. Can picture also nice big camera sweeps over the English countryside heading towards a large mansion where the start of a 17th century story begins. Not-sure the timpani's need to roll in this song or possibly lower their level so the rolls are just audible without taking up too much space around the melodies...offcourse that's my personal call and its not taking away anything from your supreme creativity. I personally really love this piece of art and understand that any genre of music created in E can be challenging but also rewarding at the sametime & again it should be in a movie as it stands its a very nice song. Welldone Mr Mortensen, you are such an inspiring artist and exceptionally creative i your works. Kindest Regards, Simon Chappell Musik House Studios
