Easy On The EarThis song is easy on the ear, relaxing and calming. I get asked to review too many songs with heavily distorted guitars and vocals which are shouted or growled rather than sung. Makes me wonder how some of these "musicians" expect to get anywhere in the music industry. But this song is different. It has a mellow vibe and feel which is pleasing to the ear. The only thing I don't like about this song is it's length. It is a little to long. But apart from that, it's fine. Keep up the good work.
Show Me the Way to HeavenErik, I really enjoyed the song. It has marvelous spiritual aspects and anyone can tell it comes from the heart. My interest in reviewing comes from the engineering standpoint. If you're looking for a "spatial" aspect to the song, you definitely found it. But, in spots, it becomes overwhelming...to the point of distraction from the vocals and the lyrics. My suggestions are pretty simple: 1 - Let that beautiful voice shine through a bit more with less reverb. Same for the background vocals...especially in the chorus line. 2 - When the full band kicks in on the chorus, the vocals lack the clarity and presence that were established when you were singing solo. When the band kicks in, back off the vocal reverb, bring all the vocals up a bit, and blend that into the recording, you will still have your spatial feel, but the new sound clarity will be a distinct positive...and the vocals will be on top where they belong. I hope this helps...just my two cents....keep writing those great songs... Tom
ParadisVery nice melody for a song with drawers. full of surprises. we think of another Robert, Robert Wyatt, a genius of labyrinth songs. Everything is very well written and we do not get tired of this refrain that leads us to paradise.
A soft atmosphereThis is a soft ballad, with different influences, from the pop music to the blues. The audio is a few low, but the impression is that this song is very quite and the atmosphere is very positive.

Show Me The WayA Good Crossover Song, which Should Get Radio Play, In More Then One Genra's. Fair Production, Mix, & Master. I Think That , The Vocals, & General Song Is , both Inspiring, & Welcome To The Public. I Give This Production 'A Good Chance At Public Acception. Generally Well Done.
ShowThis is a song that I did not connect with upon first listening. I hear it threw and simply went about my way. Later that day I was humming show me the way to heaven. So when I got some open time I came back to this. Very smooth, yet strong song. Congratulations. Thanks Magic
Great vibesThis song reminds me of so much music I grew up listening to. Great vocal arrangements, harmonies remind me of the Bee Gees, Queen and a few others. Really some feel-good music you did such a great job!!
Building up a songI thought this was going to be a country song but became country rock with shades of Americana. A nice guitar and keys start, and grows nicely and improves as it builds. The harmonies are great and come in at the right time. I like the introduction of big drums and lead guitar in the refrain. I like the rhythm and how you bring in different picking guitar through the middle of the song. Very nice and suits your rock style again the harmonies and vocals make the song for me. You took on a lot with this song and you been rewarded.
Review -ERN -Show me the way to heaven- Review by LaSueedeGood beginning!! With Piano and Guitar. The singing comes in fine and with good lyrics. Good Lyrics. Have a higher meaning. Good performance and high quality studio recording and some nice xtras of instruments in the bridge. The song is in tune and the background singing is good. I hear an electrical guitar come in in the bridge to? I like this song. This made me feel good and thinking of our lifes in a bigger picyure. One of the best one i have listen to here on N1M
In MY OpinionGreetings, Thank you for choosing me to review your work, I count it an honor to be included in such a task. My hat is off to you and anyone willing to step out and share their gift, talent and love of music to the public. Be it a musician, singer, song writer, actor and so-on. I myself, via 40 some years of experience in the fields, on the road, in the studio, radio, TV, video, and management, consider myself to be a seasoned musician, singer, song writer, studio-sound tech/engineer/ owner/operator, stage manager, find it sometimes hard/difficult and perhaps not even fair to sit in a seat, voicing My Opinion concerning anothers creative efforts. Especially in certain genres of music I am not all that familiar with concerning very important elements that make up and meet the required standards to justify the various levels of ratings and grades. So, in saying ALL that, I will limit myself to MY Opinion concerning the quality of the work according to My ears, and the standards I have been familiarized with thru-out the years. I hold to the old - saying " Beauty Is In The EAR of The Beholder ... LOL. The sound quality of the recording over-all is crisp and bright and clear, I really enjoyed the variety of instruments and solo's. Vocals are smooth and natural, sort of - down to earth as they say. The mix levels let me know who was still in charge of this song. Really enjoyed the energy, drama and emotion of the entire song.Very easy to sit back and listen to. Make you want to hear the complete songs I mean no offense in any part, I myself take all feedback and use it as a tool toward my next project. I pray you feel the same way. Either way, I say to you, keep doing what you do, keep kicking and enjoying what you do. I tell folks all the time for many years. When it stops being FUN, then it's time to stop, and stand back and think about what we are doing, why we are doing it, how we are doing it, what we and others are getting out it. Is it what we want, and how we want it. IF NOT. what are willing to do from there? Thank you again for asking MY OPINION. Johnny
Show Me The Way To HeavenHi Ern, thankx for the review opportunity. This is a really nice, feel good song, with a lovely mellow and understated drive to it. The vocals are excellent and in perfect timing and pitch throughout the song. The blend of the instruments is very well done, as the mix is perfect. The keyboard parts are exceptionally good when they come in and lift up the vibe and drive of the song. All in all, everything in this song fits like an absolute glove. This is an excellent effort, very well done - and keep up the good work, the world as it is at the moment needs tuneful, honest and feel-good music. David Butler
Show me the way to heavenHallo ein schöner und gefühlvoller Song der ins Ohr geht. The Voices are very good und sind im Mix hervorragend untergebracht Eine Ballade die zum mehrmaligen hören einlädt.und daher eine Bewertung rechtfertigt.
