Also called Gonzalo Elexpuru Sopeña.
In the middle of the 80s, Gonzalo started smoothly his life as a musician. He participates in a range of musical projects in Bilbao. Along with Eduardo Montoya and Manuel Carmona, he forms the groups Kalean and Baska. He then begins to perform on a larger scale with the band Amas de Casa. In 1988 he moves to Copenhagen, and actively collaborates in the musical scene in Denmark, working with several groups as a musician and composer. He was the founding member of the group MARAVILLA, with musicians of diverse nationalities. Since 1999, ERIKBERTON lives in Sopelana in the Basque country, and combines music writing and gigs with music teaching. He is involved in several projects with local musicians: Olestars, Eirekoa, Galea, Hakker. Erikberton also performs in a middle ages theater and music show, with BASKA and T.T.R. He plays as well with the band "Akantilaos" with Tano Jao and other musicians.
January 2011. Erikberton moves to Tenerife and plays as George Harrison, in a Beatles tribute band: Beatripper. He plays as well solo jobs. Show must go on. | | |
