About Engraved Darkness

Engraved Darkness was forged in Ohio, December 2009 by Johnnie Wallace, Matt Stewart, and Matt McVey. Their only intentions? To bring the heaviest, most aggressive and brutal music known to mankind. From '2010 to-2013, the band endured a great number of gigs, lots traveling, and necessary member changes to keep Engraved Darkness alive. Randall Davis, Chris "Axeman" Snider, Dan McKee, and Logan Baker all were a piece of the live entity through this time.
In 2014, The current line up of Johnnie Wallace, Jimmy Rose, and Andy Hall was created with the addition of Colin Glover in early 2015 . This line up has come to be game changing and the turning point for the band, and is featured on their debut album "Diabolical Scriptures".
Their sound derives from a vast combination of influences, and the styles of many genres to always push the envelope to new levels without limitations. .. Thus creating an original sound full of dark harmonies, dual-layered vocals, blistering picking with intense beats, and mind infesting riffs that will continuously echo through your skull. Their performances are packed full of raw intense power that project layers of true emotion and feelings that will keep you wanting more. The sound has often been described as "well orchestrated" and "very tight". We aim to shake the underground metal world!!
