I started having interest in music early on in life and my dad taught me my first 3 guitar chords. Started learning guitar at age 12 and never really stopped since. Played six String for about 24+ years and moved on to 8 String couple years ago. Music is a fantastic discovery and has tremendous possibilities. Even more fantastic than Music is it's Author and Creator, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the LORD, the Son of the only God. Needles to say, for me the bible and skilled Prog Instrumental music go hand in hand. This is my purpose, to make known the God Who gave the gift and talent of music. and to proclaim His Gospel of repentance and forgiveness of sins through Jesus His Son. My music is dedicated to this end. there comes a Day when each musician will give an account of the stewardship of the gift he\she has received. My desire is to please God rather than man. And I do hope you enjoy the music, as it is a gift from God to enjoy.

YouTube link for Evidence of Conscience
I hope your are all doing well and healthy! Here is a new development I'm working on called, Evidence of Conscience. Musically this is a piece that could become quite a bit more elaborate and I worked with a couple of different scales and some rotating chords for the backdrop rhythm as well as a few harmonies and of course a solo which is still indevelopment, but at least this track is the initial idea. I am truly greatful to God for the gift of music. Without Jesus having created all music and sound, there would be nothing for any musician to discover.
This piece of music deals specifically with our conscience as humans and is based on Romans 1:19-20 says: "For that which may be known about God is manifest in them(humans) for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world, His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made. Even His eternal power and Divine nature, so that they are without excuse."
This verse is loaded with mind boggling facts about what we KNOW about God as human beings. It was written by a man who used to murder Christians about 200 years ago and then saw Jesus of Nazareth appear to him on the road to Damascus. He was a learned Pharisee and hated Christians to the point of murder, until Jesus said to him, "Saul, Saul, why do you persecute Me?" So those who doubt wheter this was an actual event, consider the evidence. A man who killed Christians and arranged 'search and destroy parties' to stop Christianity from spreading and then sees Jesus appear to him, then completely changes within moments from a Christ hating to a Christ loving man who wrote most of the new testament and was flogged, beaten with reeds, shipwrecked, and at the end of his life beheaded for his faith in Jesus Christ because he kept telling people everywhere to turn away from their sin to obey Jesus Christ Who died in their place and rose again. Such a man has far more credibility than a Jihadist who runs into a building with a bomb around his waist, thinking he will get 72 virgins to fornicate with for the rest of eternity because he killed non conformists and blew himself up in the (expired link) is a huge difference between this kind of superstition, vs Biblical conversion from hating Jesus to loving Jesus and having a life that bears good fruit accordingly.
I hope you enjoy this piece of music. All glory to Jesus Christ the Son of God for this gift of music.
Love you guys!

Gerhard here. I want to thank all of you for so much for your support, messages, and encouragements! I greatly appreciate you! As a token of my appreciation, I have decided to let you 'into the studio' so to speak. I uploaded the full length production track of 'Those who Mourn', even though it is far from finished. This track is not the final mix down and is still raw studio phase. So there are sharp and sudden drops and rises in volume levels at certain places as I needed hear certain guitar parts better during recording in order to get accurate playing done, so this track is simply a 'taster' for you of what is being worked on. I'm also planing on replacing certain parts as new and better ideas come up concerning some of the parts. so please treat this as a demo and not yet a final product. The wait has been long for me as well. I know that many of you have been waiting for the completion of 'Those who Mourn'. It has been and still is a long process of production, recording, parts and solos being composed and Drums, Bass and Keyboard needing to be recorded as well as Guest guitar solo work from one of my favourite bands' guitarists. But for now I will keep you in suspense as to who he is until the recording is fully done, if God wills. All I can say for now is that I have great admiration for his guitar skills and enjoy his creative passionate lead guitar precision greatly.
The story behind those who Mourn is found in Matthew 5:3-4 where Jesus says: "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." As a musician I understand that music at it's very best, can only serve the higher calling, which is to glorify the God of the Bible Who gave any and every musician his/her talent and abilities. It is my sincere desire to see people hear and understand the Gospel of Jesus Christ and for that I know I will mostly be viewed as a fundamentalist Christian with a narrow minded view. It is an entirely different story though when you used to be a thief, a liar and a fornicator like I was and Jesus saved you and washed you from being a rebel and changed your God hating heart to love the God you once despised, and to despise the sin you once loved. I'm not talking about turning over a new leaf by adopting a new religious view as a crutch to cope better with life, I'm talking about the only real and actual God Who has power to save from Hell and to destroy in Hell. The real question that 'Those who Mourn' is meant to invoke, is:”How can I be saved from my sin?” That is the kind of Mourning that Jesus was referring to when He said: “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted”. It's only when we see that our 'little white lies' are evil and sinful before a Holy and True God Who gave the very Commandment that says: “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor”. It's only when we see that our sin for what it really is that it begins to worry us and cause a type of distress inside that causes us to mourn about the fact that we have sinned against God. And while this concept seems pretty grim, it is one of the processes that every true child of God goes through as the Father draws them to Himself. It's only once this process of the realisation of our personal sin against our Creator kicks in, that we begin to ask in our hearts, 'How can I be made Right with God.'? If we can live with 'white lies', theft, like movies and and games ….off the internet that we ripped or downloaded without legally buy it, If we can sleep with our girlfriend/boyfriend and it does not bother us that we are sinning against God by having sex outside of marriage, if we can take God's name in vain and use phrases like OMG...and J....C....! If we can look at porn, like I used to and feel no sense of shame or grief about it to the point of turning away or at least desiring to turn away from it, then it is evident that we do not know God or His Son. It was for these things that God crushed His Own Son on the Cross. This is the Good news of the Gospel, That Jesus died in the place of sinners. And rose again from the dead 3 days after that. Jesus was crushed, the Bible says by the wrath of His Father on the cross for our sin and our guilt. That is how God demonstrated His love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:6-8) It is once someone sees their own sin, and realizes how wicked it is in light of the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20) that we appreciate how great the Father's Sacrifice on the cross was. And How Jesus is God and the Son of God. This is what Jesus Himself said about His Father's Sacrifice: “Therefore does My Father love Me, because I lay down My life, that I may take it up again. No one takes it away from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down and I have power to take it up again. This Commandment, I have received from My Father.” John 10:17-18. Because of that Cross, God commands all people everywhere to Repent of our sin and to believe His Son, so that our sins might be forgiven and wiped away. But if we do not see our sin, we will never understand the Father's love for us in the Cross of His Son. It's also when we have seen the Cross of Jesus being the place our sin was dealt with, that we understand that the religions of the world have nothing but man-made solutions and empty promises. That is why the Biblical Christian will always be seen as 'fanatical' 'fundamentalist' 'extremist' 'intolerant', because a sinful world that forges their own man-made spirituality will always try to achieve self actualisation and self-righteousness that runs on a sinful engine, called human nature. And when people do not see their own sin and the real threat of Hell that follows it, and the forgiveness of God in the Cross for those very sins, they will continue to play little religious games of New Age and meditation, and 'higher' levels of 'consciousness' and self actualisation while they are still dead in their sins and trying to justify themselves with religious works that have zero redemptive value before a Holy God against Whom we have sinned, but Who gave his Son in our place. That is why Jesus is the only Way to God and there is no other.
Thank you so much for bearing with my ling message if you have read this far! I truly appreciate all the support and I pray for you guys. I hope to have a full length album out sometime this year if God wills. There are lots more material being worked on so that 'Those who Mourn' will be one of the longer Instrumentals on the album, whereas it was supposed to only be a single. Hey all you music lovers!
I hope all of you are doing well out there! Just a quick update. Been working on some new material about the Martyrs of the early church. Just uploaded a production segment of some of the guitar work on YouTube last week
And don't forget to download the free track I uploaded last week called, 'Remembering Rachel'. It was a solo I composed over an open source Jamtrack from (expired link). Rachel Scott was the first person to be killed in the Columbine massacre in 1999. the solo was composed in honorable memory of her. She had a bold faith in Jesus and always tried to befriend the outcast. She was hated for her faith by the two shooters who attacked the school that day. The solo was composed in memory of her boldness and courage for Jesus. You are free to download the track if you like.
Much Respect to all of you!
If you have any prayer requests you are welcome to inbox me.
Have a fantastic day!

Hey there Everyone!
First up I would like to personally thank each one of you for your support, compliments, and for subscribing to my page. I truly appreciate it!! I have just uploaded 3 new EP single Teasers of a big Instrumental I'm working on in Studio. There is still lots to be done as this is a 16:24 minute Prog Rock Melodic Metal Instrumental piece called 'Those who Mourn'. Most of the guitar tracks have been laid down and it's at 88 guitar tracks so far. The average band recording usually totals about 30 - 45 tracks including all instruments. so needless to say this is a big project that must still have Drums, Bass, Piano, and violin tracks laid down.
The 3 Teasers are Mid production phase meaning that it's still the raw guitar tracks with metronome running which will eventually be replaced with Drums. And no mixing or effects or mastering has yet been done. So consider this a peak into the Studio if you will. I am including the 3 YouTube links here so you can check it out if you want. If God wills we aught to have this Instrumental released by the end of the year. The aim is to release it as a text video Instrumental. I hope you enjoy these segments!
Please subscribe to my YouTube channel if you dig my Tunes!
Thanks again for all your support! May you Gals n Guys have a fantastic week!
Respect and love
