The songs of Xavier Calvera, Cuban born Singer-Songwriter who sings songs about the beauty of the land and of Patria, the Mother of us all. Inspired by the poems of Cuban poet 'El Cucalambe' and also by 'Los Versos Sencillos' - the 'Simple Verses' of the great Cuban poet, Jose Marti. Xavier has been working in this project since he left Cuba as a boy, writing the first song for this collection then. The whole album is scheduled to be released in 2007 and these are previews for your enjoyment.
All songs written by Xavier Calvera, except 'Que Se vaya Ya' and Pa' Mi Cuba Me Voy' that were written by Xavier Calvera and Hector Pineda. All songs c 2006 Lord Tiger.
Estan son las canciones de Xavier Calvera, un compositor nacido en Cuba y criado en los Estados Unidos de America. El canta sobre la belleza de la tierra y el concepto de Patria, la madre de todos nosotros. El fue inspirado por los poemas del poeta Cubano ‘El Cucalambe y tambien por los ‘Versos Sencillos’ del gran poeta Jose Marti. Xavier ha estado trabajando en esta coleccion desde que se fue de Cuba cuando ni?o. El album al fin va a salir en 2007.
