Now Ain't That Life
First let me say I think the song is a good one. Now I don't mean to be critical or negative but I think the guitar sound is too distorted for the feel of the song. Perhaps using different effects during the parts when your singing would help to accent what you're saying. Also, you might consider not playing the guitar through out the entire song, but use more phrasing and filler guitar lines. As for the vocals, again I don't want to be negative, but you seemed unsure of yourself or at least what you were sing or how you sang it. I liked the lyrics, but maybe you should give the vocals another shot. there are plenty of effects you can use to improve the vocals if you don't want to re-record them. I really think you have written a good song, maybe just put a bit more into the production end & cut back the distortion on your guitar! keep up the good work.

the lieutenant--review by Starla
the recording is good enough but I would not classify this as a song per se--it's more like a bunch of fun good jamming with a few chord changes thrown in--there's nothing catchy or memorable--I see potential, but think more about arrangements and changes and a melody

Very smooth song. Like the drums you got going. Like it a lot. Very melow. Keep up the good work.
