We are replacing the current Love Prohibition with a more polished version. We are also going into a studio soon to rerecord everything in a more professional manner. We will record songs like Track 9, The Long Road, Keep In Mind, You've Never Looked My Way, Love Prohibition, and some songs you've never heard before like Good Times, and other new songs. Sorry to keep you waiting, we haven't sent a fan newsletter since August! Now that the apology is out of the way, we'd like to repay you fans with our latest news.
Ok, so since our last newsletter, we have played 4 gigs (this Saturday makes 5). 2 of which were professionally recorded and placed on YouTube. You can watch both by clicking, or copy/paste the following links:

Anyway, we have replaced some versions of songs like You've Never Looked My Way with the live version, and added a new song Keep In Mind from the live version. The live versions come from those 2 links above.
Our newest song is Love Prohibition, which features the bass, we'd like to hear some feedback from the fans on that song. Another important update I have to make is that after were done gigging, we will begin working on songs for our second album (even though the first one is not done, haha), anyway, our second album will be a bit bluesier and classic rock-esque. One of our main influences is Led Zeppelin, and we want to capture some of that sound. Do not worry though, there will always be the alternative songs, that is what we do the best, and will surely continue making songs like Track 9, and Keep In Mind. Expect a bit more classic riff-driven songs pretty much.

Read moreHey EoR fans! We have some exciting news! We have been selected as one of the 6 out of 109 bands (that submitted) to perform at a local Battle of the Bands! If you are in the Miami, FL area and wish to support us, check the information in the "Shows" tab if you're interested.
In other news, we are still working on new music, one of the songs is more of a vintage sounding chill, relaxed song. Another one of the songs is metal-like, hard-driving song. (the complete opposite) Our goal is to create a very diverse album — hence the name Sweet 'n Sour.
We thank you fans for all the fan mail and support. Every email we receive is a big motivation booster. We wouldn't go on if it wasn't for fan interaction and feedback. Thank you, and see you in the crowd!

Happy 4th of July EOR fans! We have a new song for you all called: "You've Never Looked My Way." It's due to some changes, but that's how it's basically going to sound. Hope you all enjoy it and let us know what you think about it or any other song. We are working as hard as we can to finish this album, so be on the lookout for any new songs. When we finish this album we'll be gigging around Florida and posting more vids on YouTube. Keep on listening

We finally got up to adding a new demo of a song (Dystopia). We might post up 1 or 2 other new demos this week if we can. This summer will be busy and we won't be able to do as much. Anyway, you can expect our album to be done around September. However, we will be doing our best to bring you new song demos throughout this summer. As time progresses our recording will become cleaner as well; we are currently working on improving our recording equipment, as of now we only record with 1 mic. (2 for drums) Besides that, we enjoy making music, and more will come in the near future. Have a nice day!

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

About Echoes of Rhythm
Echoes of Rhythm started mid-January of 2013 on the principle of bringing classic rock and blues influence back into modern rock with an alternative twist. Check us out! Founded as "A-OK" in 2008. A-OK was a Miami-based rock band. At the time the band was merely a cover band, just having fun. After some conflicts, a member of the band quit, the band continued to go on under a new name, "The Growing Movement". On August 17, 2012, The Growing Movement was up and running by the 4 existing members. The band was doing well, having found a gig, but after a couple of months, they decided to kick out the lead guitarist for never showing up. Then after some debating, they found their lead guitar replacement and changed their name to "Echoes of Rhythm."
Echoes of Rhythm started mid-January of 2013 on the principle of bringing classic rock and blues influence back into modern rock with an alternative twist. The band is now stable, and is working on finishing up their debut album, Sweet 'n Sour, which is projected to be finished before September of 2013.
Echoes of Rhythm is a high-school garage-rock band consisting of 4 members. Every member knows eachother from years past.
