Hello my friends and fellow travelers,
I hope you are all doing well and enjoying the winter season as much as I am. Of course like a lot of you, I've been through a cold and the flu this year. But, in spite of all that, I'm good, and working hard at writing some new songs. I started tracking for one of them last week.
Anyway,,,Here's a brand new video for the extended version of "It's Not Over Yet" The video was produced here in Philadelphia. The music was written by myself & David Snow of Little Hypster Studios in Van Nuys, CA. The recording and mixdown were also done by David. The mastering was done @Abbey Road Studios in London, link.
I hope you enjoy the video and please feel free to share it as you like. And feel free to drop me an e-mail and let me know what you think.
As always....Thanks for listening!

Hi all!
Well, our first 20 degree day is here tomorrow...brrrrr. So, I thought I'd warm you all up with a look and listen to my latest record and video for "It's Not Over Yet". I spent close to 7 months working with producer David Snow @ Little Hipster Studios out in California on this one. It was great fun working with Dave and I think he really helped to put a shine on this song. I went through some very tough times in the last few years, surviving some very serious illnesses. At one point things didn't look very good going forward. But, as it say in the song. I made it through all of it and it really changed the way I see things now. That was really what got me writing and recording and getting back to what I love to do so passionately, making music and sharing it with all of you, And not giving up just because I've gotten a bit older. I'm still running my race and living my life and most of all, enjoying the fact that I might make someone's day a little better by listening to one of my songs.
Anyway, I hope you all like it and share it with your friends and families.
As always, thank you for listening!

Greetings from Philly,
First I'd like to welcome all my new friends and thank all of you for following along. I know it's been awhile and I apologize for not keeping you up to date. I was invited to work with producer David Snow on a new version of "It's Not Over Yet" back in December and I have been so busy working on it and shooting some new videos since then. I'm happy to say that the new record is finished except for mastering. Most of it was recorded at Little Hipster Studios in Van Nuys, Ca. Just waiting to hear if the master will be done at Abby Road Studios in London. How cool is that? I can't wait for you all to hear it. Hopefully that will be sometime in the early fall.
In the meantime I have just released the official video for "Gravity", the closing track from my CD. This was always my favorite song.....very heavy Zep influence on this one. Anyway, I hope you enjoy watching. Don't forget to share it.....sharing is such a nice thing to do, don't you think?
I hope you are all doing well and I wish you all my best!

I hope this finds you happy and healthy, ready for 2016! Working hard on a couple new records, "Gotta Take Chances" and "I'm Gettin' Real Good" are through the writing stage and are in "Pre-Production" at the moment. Looking for a late february release on one of them.
In the meantime, here is a listen to the 6th song on my CD, recently published on NumberOneMusic. I've Given Up On Love, was written on a rather bad day I'm afraid. But, I'm feeling much better now! I hope you enjoy listening.
I wish all of you a happy and healthy new year and as always, thanks for listening!

Greetings from Philly,
Here's a look at the video for, A Cry For Centralia. This song is about a real town in Pennsylvania that was destroyed by an underground mine fire that has burned underground for over 60 years. The song is a mix of folk and Americana, with a nice thin coat of Country.
My neighbors here have no idea that I am a recording artist. While I was shooting the footage of myself playing and singing on my front step, some of them kept walking by. I'm sure they thought I was a bit insane, strumming my guitar and softly singing along with the record. I was monitoring with my phone and using earbuds so they couldn't hear the song. I got some pretty funny looks as I did the video. Hopefully there are no petitions for my removal going around.....lol
Hope you are all doing well as we approach the fall season. A new song is on the way....headed back to the studio this week.
All my best,
David

A warm hello from Philly!
Summer has arrived with a vengeance here in beautiful Philadelphia. Hot, Hot, Hot! But, I know some of you have been getting much worse west of here and I hope you are all safe.
Just A Little Love, another song from my recent release, definately steps way toward the pop side. I'm a big fan of the great horn bands of the 70's and 80's, so I wanted to try my hand at an arrangement with horns. As for the song.....I was thinking about what's really the important thing in our lives. And when it comes down to it, love is the only thing. Family and friends, or doing something you love (whether you make money with it or not). It's important to clear our heads from time to time and come back to the people and things in our lives we love.
With that being said....Here's, Just A Little Love
I hope you like it and don't forget to write! I love hearing from you all!
David

He has that baritone that’s all about the narrative. He’s a storyteller. And he plays all the instruments. Simply. Impressively. And the music, while drawing firmly from Country, hews quite classically to the best of the folksingers, from Johnny Cash to John Prine to John Gorka. Devon Jackson.....Freelance music reviewer
