|  |  |  |  |  |  | | | | | | Bio of the Artist | DREAMLOST is a french melodic metal band with progressive influences, created in 1996. With a growing fame, the 5 musicians knew how to assert themselves among the small world of metal as the new french talents of the progressive music.
Their first marketing came true in 2002 thanks to a concept edited in the form of a demo, “On the Pathway of a Dream”. The band, at first influenced Heavy Metal, then showed a determined progressive style. 5 titles developped a rich and complex music where the musicians had all the freedom to prove their talent.
After a favourable feedback, the band contacts Alain Ricard, from BRENNUS MUSIC label with the aim of letting him discover the beginnings of a new project album called: "Outer Reality". This first album would particularly approach the meanders of a psychological disorder, called Derealization. Conquered, he decides to take charge of their CD distribution. The album is released in October 2006 and reviews are unanimous: DREAMLOST signs an excellent product showing that french Metal has something to defend !
Three years after the release of "Outer Reality", DREAMLOST publishes the second album, "Psychomedia" (in December, 2009). This one reveals a production much superior to the first CD and their style becomes clearer with progressive and melodic titles hanging in the balance. From this new maturity, they let us discover even more effective pieces and an universe so fascinating, which approaches this time the reality of our society and its faults. Always supported by their music label, our 5 musicians now try to cross the borders in order to reveal to the world of music the talent of french Metal. | | |
