Rock’n’Roll spoken here! Happy 2020! The Roaring 20s are here. 100 years ago the 1920s ushered in The Jazz Age with “sex, booze and jazz”…a forerunner to the 1960s and “sex, drugs and rock’n’roll”. What will these 20s bring? Now the really big news this month is up in the skies. The 1st full week of January is packed with action! There’s a full moon lunar eclipse, Uranus is going direct and on January 12, Saturn will be in conjunction with Pluto. We mentioned this in last month’s newsletter and this conjunction portends some big serious stuff. Here’s a brief description of what this conjunction means: “In its purest form, this cycle is one of the highest tests of integrity and morality for those in authority, along with a test of capacity and resilience.” We’ve already seen the impeachment of President Trump, with the trial in the Senate about to test the ethics of the republicans and show if they have any backbone. Throw in the current events unfolding in Iran and the wildfires burning down in Australia, and this year will most likely go down in the history books as one to remember for a long, long time. Let’s hope we can all survive it!! NEW NEWS…It’s a new year and time for a new album and a new video premiere! The new “Better Day” album will be DownTown Mystic’s 1st new album since “Rock’n’Roll Romantic” in 2016. Last month DownTown Mystic signed a Licensing Deal with Last Man Music in the UK to release “Better Day” worldwide ex. North America, where Sha-La Music will release the album digitally on January 24 via AWAL/Kobalt Music. Last Man Music will also do physical distribution of cds & vinyl. Also, DownTown Mystic will have its 1st ever video premiere on YouTube for the Better Day single on Thursday, Jan. 9 at Noon EST.
