Rock’n’Roll spoken here! September is here and so is the end of summer. The Autumnal Equinox or the 1st day of fall will be here on Sept. 22. The days will begin to get shorter and a chill will be in the air as the leaves fall from the trees. It’s a nice thought but the summer temps are still around bringing hurricanes and disasters with them. Hopefully, things will cool down soon. NEW NEWS…DownTown Mystic just had some new photos taken in a NYC photo shoot with ace LA photographer Mark Maryanovich that took place in Brooklyn and lower Manhattan a couple of weeks ago. As mentioned last month, Sha-La Music has signed a Licensing Agreement to join the roster of boutique labels under the European flagship of BMP. Expect a flurry of releases from DownTown Mystic in Europe coming in 2019. RADIO…DownTown Mystic recently did an interview with Peter Kunnens on the world famous Winkelwagen Show in The Netherlands. The interview will be posted soon on the Winkelwagen website: https://winkelwagenshow.com/ The “Turn Around And Go” Single was released by Sha-La/AWAL/Kobalt Music in late July and promoted to Radio via iPluggers. The promotion has been very successful, getting airplay on over 160 radio stations in 21 countries. That number will actually be much larger, thanks to the single being added by a number of companies with Instore play. One company, Mood Media in The Netherlands, has made the single available to all of its 580,000 In-store radios in 41 countries worldwide! As previously mentioned, we found out that the film “Monumental” with Jeremy Irons, has been re-titled as “Better Start Running”. We have the song “Fly Like The Wind” in the movie, and even better, it’s in the trailer for “Better Start Running”, which features “Fly Like The Wind” in the last 35 seconds!!
