This is an important week. It is one year since the 2nd & final recording session for 'More Love to Begin'. We did 5 tracks 'live off the floor' in under 4 hours; 3 (& more likely 4) of the selected cuts on the 11-track album are first takes. It is also the week 'I Come From the Future' made it to #1 on the Global N1M Folk Rock chart, after a few weeks at #1 in Canada. After much deliberation, as 'A Runaway Train' is so important to me, I decided to take it down after 5k plays. It is my memorial tribute to the folks in Lac-Mégantic QC after the preventable train wreck there in July of 2013, inspired by Gordon Lightfoot's 'The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald'. It was up the longest of the MLtB songs other than the title and featured ones. (Inexplicably, 'More Love to Begin' the single, was removed instead, along with the record of its 13k+plays; I restored it a moment ago, editing the title.) Remember if you miss 'A Runaway Train', 'Michipicoten', 'Why Do I Love You', 'Lion Mountain', or 'Alright Here', just look for 'More Love to Begin' (the album) on iTunes, Google play music, Spotify etc, which are supplied via TuneCore by a prior agreement. For the new song, first listen to or at least remember 'Your Song' & 'Blue Eyes' by Elton John.
