About Doc Morgan

I was born in Jamaica, but grew up in Miami. My father, Derrick Morgan, is one of the founding fathers of Jamaican music, and started the career of Bob Marley. I grew up in the music industry, but always remained an academician, attending the University of Miami and attaining a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, and a MS degree in Biomedical Engineering. Later I attended medical school at Howard University, and acquired my Medical Degree. I specialized in Family Medicine, and became personnal physician to several celebrities, including but not limited to Lil Wayne and Young Money, Sean Kingston etc. I enjoyed watching the work ethics of Weezy and Drake, and was encouraged to continue creating music, after Wayne heard one of song called Wassup Wassup (currently on iTunes under my former artist name Grand Police). Wayne loved my music so much, that he once allowed me to perform on one of his concert Tour in Miami.
