Our definition of Message Music is as follows: WHAT IS MESSAGE MUSIC Message Music, as viewed by Spirit 2 Spirit, is a new and unique genre of music consisting of a clever mixture of a variety of music genres including, gospel, rhythm and blues, go-go, pop, funk, and Latin percussive, However it is open to every Genre that exist. Message Music is Faith-based music with a uniquely fresh appeal to its listeners. Persons of diverse cultures, various age groups, races, and religious backgrounds will embrace the music. While our Message Music expresses a sound similar to that of the 1960s and 70s’ Rhythm and Blues messages that appealed for peace and love, its main purpose is to enlighten one about God’s glory. Its lyrics are devised to touch the heart of the listener in order to invoke and expand the individual’s sense of spirituality and his/her personal relationship with God. Thus, it serves as a musical conduit for spiritual communication to raise spiritual conscious. The main focus of this genre is the lyric. We perceive positive lyrics whose intent is to encourage, enlighten, invoke and inspire one to positive action and or an inward search for answers in a much troubled world are in dire need "Now" more than ever. Message Music is not new, but has never been singled out for it's potential nor for the good it has already done not just for music but for individual growth in terms of a positive mindset !!! Text, tweet, ,blog, message, email, call your local radio station and tell folks what positive music has done to enhance your lives and let people know this genre should be made formal and put on the music industries Map, to be appreciated, glorified, held in high regard and Awarded.
