Hey folks!!...Yet another new song. Those of you who have grown accustomed to our "country/folk-rock-oriented" songs will find this one a little different. This one falls more into the "Smooth Jazz-a la Steely Dan/adult contemporary" vein...While we HAVE gone there before, admittedly the bulk of our music falls into the former category. But ya know...every once in a while one of these kinda bubbles to the surface and demands to be heard. This song, entitled Pop's Hideaway was originally intended to become part of our "Seasons Suite", this one encompassing SUMMER...so yer gonna have to use your imagination a bit here and think of a sizzling hot, busy, noisy inner city, and a young professional couple with a young family coming to the realization that there's gotta be more to life than busting yer ass 10 hours a day, and MAYBE it's time to head out to the oceanside for a break. I would like to thank my brother Jean Pierre (Gus) Lauzon for the inspiration.
