About Debility
Debility, telling the tale of the disease know as man. Masterful melodies for the masses. Give these metalheads a listen, you won't regret it. Every epic band has and epic begining... We do not. It pretty much happened like this:
Zach: "Hey Richard, we should start a band man"
Richard: "Indeed"
And thus, Talion was born...
And so it began.
We decided to do the WHS Variety Show in November. We had 2 guitarists and Zach's girlfriend, Sam Nowry, on vocals for our first cover, "Fully Alive" by Flyleaf. Sam one day decided to stand up and ask everyone in her class if they played drums. Luckily for us, someone did.
Our good friend Sean sacrificed himself and his set to achieve epicness. Now I'll admit, we didn't know what to expect. We were waiting for anything from a guy with a snare to this badass with an amazing Joey Jordison-esque set. When sean pulled up with his set, we luckily recieved a happy medium. after getting set up, we began to work on our cover. it was pretty amazing if we do say so ourselves. The best part of it though, once Richard and Zach began to space out and play original stuff, Sean was able to almost instantly come up with a drum beat to go with it. This was a sign. Little did we know, someone else was listening to us
The next day, we were practicing in Sams garage when a random dude just waltzed up into her driveway. We were all utterly confused. Just then the guy asked us to play the song again, so we did. When the song was over, we looked at him thinking we had our first fan. Then we heard those sweet words we were praying for: "Where's your Bassist?" We were blessed by an angel in disguise, and his name was Burt. Unfortunately, he was a flake and only made it to a few practices and decided he didnt wanna play anymore. His loss.
Richard had to part ways with his fellow members to pursue other endeavors, leaving a period for stylistic development and experimentation for both parts of the fragmented group. After an unexpected series of events, Richard returned to complete us once again.
Now we're Debility, set and ready to rock the world. Reunited after such long divide, we take on whatever comes our way, on crushing riff at a time.
