About D.CrazE the Destroyer

(expired link) the Destroyer is a passionate hip hop artist from the blue collar town of Erie, PA. He grew up listening to a variety of hip hop acts such as LL Cool J, Salt-N-Pepa, Onyx, Wu-Tang Clan, Boogie Down Productions, Boot Camp Clik, & Redman just to name a few. After years of being influenced by the great ones before him, CrazE decided to give rhyming a try at the age of 14. One day he got an instrumental from a cassette single and wrote his first rap. With no access to actual recording equipment he improvised by using a little hand held voice recorder and sat in front of his stereo and recorded himself saying his rhyme to the beat. Later that night he played an excerpt of his newly discovered talent for a few of his cousins and it blew their minds. Influenced by what they had just heard, they all decided to chip in to purchase a low-end microphone and equipment so they could hook it up to a stereo and record directly to a tape. It's from these humble beginnings that (expired link) has learned to perfect his craft and it's his passion and love for hip hop that has allowed him to emerge as one of hip hop's brightest new stars.
