God Only Knows
Hey Folks,
You all know I wrote this song, "God Only Knows." This is really the theme for my whole life and how he moves. I surely don't know what's going to happen other than my schedule at Walmart or where I'm going to be on Sundays. God is in control and I am finding this out daily. I may have told you this but I work as a customer host at the front door of Walmart in Carson City, Nevada. Not a very big town but a very busy store in our town and surrounding area. I have opportunity to talk to hundreds of people who walk into the store every day. I have also gained many friends who also work at the job I call my real job. To God I am his servant and when I am at work I am on a mission. Just recently one of the employees and my friend had to undergo chemo for her leukemia. She hasn't been able to work for weeks but daily I have had the opportunity to pray for her healing as I stand in front of Walmart in the slow times. Also just the other day, early in the morning about 9Am and a very slow morning another friend told me she had cancer and had to have a semi debilitating surgery in the very near future. I told her I would pray for her when I got home but she asked me to pray for her right then and I did. A day later a little lady in her 80’s spoke to me as she pushed her cart toward the front door of the store that she had cancer and they didn’t think she was going to make it. I told her I would pray for her and she was thrilled.
To sum this all up God Only Knows what people are going through but it’s our job to be available to accomplish what He wants to be accomplished in our days. Be ready for what He wants for you to do because God only knows what tomorrow will bring.
