My Mother
Hey folks,
I've been kind of busy working and stuff but today is a special but sad day for me. My mom passed away in April at 89. She would have been 90 today. I really miss her but I know she is with my dad in heaven as well as my two brothers who passed away this last two years. Our loved ones should be special to us whether here on earth or in heaven. I guess I'm really not sad for my mom and the other family members in heaven, but I miss their voices and their smiles and especially their humor, All four of them had their place in the kingdom of God and others will miss them as well.
Recently I wrote a song called My Story, and it talks a little about my heritage and my family, Today, as the song says, my wife and I live out the family legacy with 6 children of our own and 13 grand children.
God has been so good to us and I know I'll seen my incredible mom and the rest of my family in heaven when the Lord comes to meet us in the air. What an awesome thought.
