It's Hard to be a Dingo

Thank you Dave Norman for putting this out there. Great to see somebody giving attention to the forgotten, yet iconic animal . Also a wonderful pseudonym for the treatment given to the indigenous people of this country and any country really. I appreciated the dingo howls and the lightness of the melody, rather than going for something heavy and intense. This approach carries the message well without drowning in pity. Well done.

Made me think...

Thought provoking song ..Nice instumentation, Musically nice feel, but it's the lyrics that really grab you. There are animals all over the planet going through the same fate.Great job bringing their story to the forefront..

It´s hard to be a Dingo

In my ears, I quickly heard that there was much love to Paul Simon. I like this song with its good musicians and the feeling of being out in the open country with a mixed song and telling voice. The song makes me relax and breathe calmly.

A song for the plight of the Australian dingo.

I like this song and it is very moving. I am a supporter of great music and the planet we live on and the animals we share it with. This song covers all those bases. May the Dingo's plight be heard through your wonderful music.

Yow man nations thinking about war and conflict but not taking the time to think about nature and the animals. Over development destroying their natural habitat. Good song, the vocals are on point good job man bless

its Hard to be a Dingo

THIS IS NOT USUALLY THE STYLE OF MUSIC I REVIEW HOWEVER THERE IS MERIT HERE IF YOU ARE INTO AUSTRALIANA THEMES AND THE PLIGHT OF THE DINGO I THINK THE VOCAL IS LOW VOLUME AND NEEDS TO BE SLIGHTLY MORE CONFIDENT AND NOT LAID BACK IN STYLE THE SONG WOULD BENEFIT FROM HAVING MORE PRIDUCTION VALUES LIKE DRUMS IN THE CHORUS TO HELP SEPARATE VERSES AND GIVE IT A SLIGHTLY MORE RYTHMIC UPTEMPO FEEL OTHERWISE NOT A BAD EFFORT

You can fee the wind!

When i listen to thi song, i hear the wind and maybe i also see an old rusted car and on t top of it, a thirsty guitar player whistling in the early morning light. And the question remain: do Dingo transform into werewof at night?

Nice song

Hey Dave. Nice song. Quite good singer-songwriting. I like the typical Australian sounds in it; the didgeridoo, the dingo-howling,... The lyrics are nice also, really engaged. I am a nature-freak and I donate money each month to the WWF and Greenpeace. Love to go to Australia once; i live in Belgium and it's REALLY overcrowded here: When you got a nature-reserve over here within 30 miles around you gotta be lucky it's bigger than 30 hectares... I've Always thought that countryfolk is a really romantic genre in music ( I like Johny Cash, Willie Nelson,...), and I must say, your song really adds up to that standard ! I bet you've been heard on the radio in Australia. Keep playing. Greetings from Pieter B., Belgium. And check out my music on N1M: search: spiceypete

A Hard Dingo

What's hard for me is to understand any of this song. I guess it's an Australian thing? Or perhaps I'm the Dingo? I don't know. What I do know is the singing was very pleasant with good music accompaniment. There's something about artists from down under that can make anything sound good. I'm sure that the lyrics had some meaning to them and for all I know were very deep indeed. What's harder than being a dingo is reviewing songs from other parts of the world. One thing's for sure. I'll be walking around all day with the dingo song in my head so, that's a good thing in my book and because of that, I give you a big good job Sponge Bob~
