|  |  |  |  |  |  | | | | | | Bio of the Artist | My name is Darren Clinton, my friends call me clint... I was born in Withington hospital, Manchester. I went to Wilbraham primary school ( Fallowfield) and Ducie central high ( Moss side). I didn't start playing music until i was 15 influenced mainly by Oasis and then the Beatles... This is when i discovered that this was something i really wanted to do with my life!
I joined my first band when i was 17 called ''Inner self'', and went on to form my own band called ''Clinton Avenue''. I gigged in and around Manchester at places like the Night and day Cafe, The Roadhouse, The Dry bar (made reasonably famous by the Happy Mondays!) and The Academy in Manchester university.. I recently started recording my own material and that has helped me to get management (adf) in the hope of getting a deal! I absolutely love performing and writing, and as long as i have a breath in my body it's something that i will never stop aspiring to achieve.... | | |
