"We Said" is a pure joy!
In all honesty, I must preface this review with the fact that my song "Missin Me" was only able to reach No.2 on the N1M Global Country Pop charts while this song sat in the No.1 spot. So, I tip my hat to Dana & Mike for creating such a wonderful, feel good, soul inspiring, Happy, happy...joy, joy song. It just has that energy! It really moves you...it moved me from the first time I heard it. It gives you the tingly feeling. You know, the good kind ;) Okay, now for that review. Dana Jordan has a rich, powerful, down home kinda voice that carries, and cuts through to the heart. As a singer she's got great control, intonation, and range in addition to a wonderful delivery style. Mike Ingram has a strong Travis Tritt'ish tone that blends perfectly with Dana's vocal style. Tonally they compliment each other almost perfectly. From the opening line of this song the ringing guitar line and the simple trap kit keep the melodic and rhythemic backdrop solid for the duration of this magical musical journey. Lyrically, this is totally a love song. A true love song for the lovers of this world and for those who still believe in love. So much positive energy radiates from the interplay between these two throughout this wonderfully inspirational piece that it's almost impossible to not get caught up in the moment and think about that special someone. I tried, but just couldn't do it. Besides, who would want to do that anyway? There is a tender interlude in the break where a very heartfelt and tasteful lead guitar makes a strong and profound statement before it all comes back around for the ending grand finale. Finally, the call&response ending lets us down easy as it all slowly fades away, but leaves one with a feeling of pure joy. It's easy to see why this song is still the Global Number One Country Pop Song on N1M.

We a very well written meaningful song, what a very nice duet, vocals come out clear as a bell. This song grabs my attention instantly. The kick off with the hot lead guitar, just gets you going to a kick back laid back feeling. The song is very conversational but, keeps me going. The instruments all seemed to be in line and fit like a glove. I love the build up to this song, puts my heart over the edge, great job Songedge

Good song, well done, good band and excellent vocal! This girl can really sing, band is certainly first class. This is a very commercial song and I predict it will go top 10, at least it deserves to be!

Hi Dana, What a great country voice.Nice melodic song with a soaring bridge. Loved the tight harmonies. This is a well put together song, lyrically strong and great backing. Really well done and a recording to be proud of.

Great performance all around...ok song!
I think the tempo of the song was nice. The musicians obviously are experienced and played tight enough. The singing was real good the harmonies were strong and tight. Definitely was a good duet. The two voices layered well I thought. The dynamic was there. In every critique I will give one honest critisim that I think would truly benefit the artist, group or band. Forgive me but I wasn’t crazy about the song. It was long, not catchy enough to hold my attention. The wording wasn’t anything that popped out at me separating itself from the tsunami of songs out there right now. Of coarse the writing aspect is what I do around the clock so that’s not to say anything. Far worse songs have become wildly successful. I’d be fascinated to hear this band and both singers on a quality catchy song that had the It factor.

Really nice country pop duet! Harmonies are spot-on. The voices complement one another very well, and the song has some nice unexpected changes. This song should become a wedding reception anthem.

Do we duet?
Great vocal intro and a snappy guitar. The song is a ballad and both vocalists are true pro's. I enjoy the vocals and style. The guitars pull you in and the overall feel is happy. The harmonies are spot on. The one thing it lacks is a big hook filled chorus. It was verse, verse, refrain, solo, 2nd bridge, Chorus? I listened to it twice to see what it was that bothered me so I could help. The We Said part would make a good chorus, it needs verses. That's my opinion.

4 + 3 = Ok...
A nice up beat little song... Good production with a catchy melody and, decent hook which, is about all I could pull out of this audio mix... You sound like you have a nice voice but, your vocals got buried down in the sound mix too far in places they lyrics all but, disappeared... You also trickled down to almost a whisper at the end of a few lines which, made your voice blend right into the sound itself... Maybe with the lyrics added it would be easier to understand the whole song... Overall, a nice country pop number... Rhythm and, melody should help move it up the charts here... Good luck with it...
