EMPRESS CYNTHIA RILEY

Introducing to the world Reggae Music’s Newest Sweetheart “EMPRESS”.
Although she was raised in the tough city of Brooklyn, New York this young songstress always found time to practice her singing. Whether she was singing with the school chorus, or the church choir, kicking it with friends who shared the same love of music that she did, or just performing for an audience of mom and dad, it was clear very early out music would always be part of her life. Although she grew up in the concrete jungle, her summers were spent in the West Indies: Jamaica, Montserrat, Antigua, Puerto Rico, St. Martin to name a few. My Parents always kept us connected to our West Indian Heritage, I was extremely lucky to have the best of both worlds.

“I grew up listening to the likes of Bob Marley and the Wailers, Peter Tosh, Marcia Griffith, JC Lodge, Patra, Cynthia Schloss, Dawn Penn, Gregory Isaacs, Everton Blender, Tinga Stewart, Ziggy Marley, Shabba, just way to many to name a few…the list could go on and on and on.
