|  |  |  |  |  |  | | | | | | Bio of the Artist | | My name is Curtis Aki, I was born on 1979 in the small town of Kenora, Ontario. I am a Native American, of the Ojibawa culture. I moved all around Canada, making many friends carrying around a guitar, than i found the piano, and my voice. It's an extension of my soul,and those moments in time between you and I. I played around in clubs, bars, and what have you. A band by the name of Bushleague found me and took me on tour. We recorded with various members in Vancouver, BC. Ultimately the band changed it's name to The Lillian Effect as the entire line-up changed during the recording process. Roger Swan produced 14 tracks for the band. It ended up the band exploded, but the tracks still remain. I have since moved on to Winnipeg, to record my own project, which hopefully will be up for purchase on Itunes in the coming months. I have tastes from, Nirvana, Red hot Chili Peppers, Prodigy, Beethoven, Tiesto, Rage Against The Machine, but have such guilty listening pleasures such as Christina Aguilara, and Robyn. I do not confine myself to such limited items but often do grab random cd's from the shelf in the shop. I keep an open mind. | | |
