Kansas City native Cottonmouth Scotty has a true rags to riches story. The former drug dealer would get a fresh start at music after independently releasing the mix tape "CARTEL" in early 2017 under his last name Scott Smith. After a step into a more professional direction the name was revised and trademarked as Cottonmouth Scotty in mid 2018, around this same time Global Cartel was merely an idea. Now its 2019 and he's back with Global Cartel and a vengeance..
