now it´s the more quiet time of the year - hey, sorry, no way, at least I was on several Christmas Trains binging some "Joy to the World" or "Jingle Bells" and "Frohe Weihnacht ueberall" to hundreds of children, parents, and grandparents on our tracks in the "Heart of the Heathland" ! Yes, I hope, this time will be joyful, relaxing, interesting and heart-warming for You and Yours, and I just want to wish You peace, love, and a happy, successful, safe and healthy 2019 ! Howdy country friends, dear railroad fans, music listeners and influencers,
the weekend August 5.-6. I´m having open days at the America Line Depot Monument, Ebstorf, Germany, which is the last historically saved railroad depot at the America Line, the railway track,
that brought most of European migrants to the seaports booking their vessels to USA and Canada. Can you imagine, that over 4 million people were carried by rail some 600km at the times before WW1 from emigration depot Berlin Ruhleben to Bremen - Bremerhaven and Hamburg seaports, with all their families, baggage, and all they had, in freight train boxcars or even open goods cars? What a pain to get to America, don´t You agree? Just to try for a better life, having no chance to work or make a living in Germany, Poland, Russia, Balticum, Hungary, Austria and all the other states they came from...
OK, so at the Depot it´s to be a "migration museum", and if anybody of You knows some of Your families ancestry history connected to this part of America´s great history, and might be interested to share their stories, please mail me, I´d like to hear if they were successful or even struggling in the new world..

let me just take a minute to send You a message, in between all this rebuilding and renovating work of the historic railroad depot ;-)
We are about to get the line-up the Saturday June 17th and Sunday June 18th program filled up,
this year there are even more international artists and bands on stage performing for fans and more event and music managers attending the Music GP at "(expired link).
The program ranges from folk, country and pop to hip-hop and rap for the youngsters,
so Brian the Hat from UK/A competes with Yang Baby Boloman Der Kaiser from Gabun and norwegian singer-songwriter-lady Eli Gouden, classic piano soul music with Junodori project and
music school Elmshorn singers Florentine, Sarah, Kyrill and Marcel. Rig One brings rap-hip-hop from Saxonia, and big pop band Firemen´s Friends play German hits and 50s-60s-70s pop music at their band-slot and after-show-meeting.
So if You´re near and got time, drop in at the America Line Depot Monument, Ebstorf Germany (find directions at google-maps), and artists looking for a "last-minute" band-slot at the Music GP might order the bandstand contract via mail: reb@(expired link)

howdy, I just want to send You a big "Thank You" for supporting my music, bringing songs into the ranks of the charts, and sometimes downloading from the servers at iTunes, amazon and all those other opportunities to get music, and sharing Your impressions with more friends and fana over fb and mail! I do appreciate Your work and love for music very much, and I´m overwhelmed receiving so many notices and letters from listeners, friends and fans about my songs! I know, there are a lot of musicians and bands, composers and writers of other music genres among our group of friends, from pop, soul, blues music to hard´n´heavy metal, and I try to find time to send You a "thanx" back, listen and recommend Your sounds to fb or other fans. just want to drop a note to you all for info about the next event I keep preparing some weeks by now:
this Sunday, 9/11th - well, not a "proper date" in America, we are taking part in the "European Heritage Days" with our historic America Line Depot Monument at Ebstorf, Germany, though. It´ll be an "Open Monument Day" for everybody interested in this railway station, with special "then and now" foto exposition, info and lectures to remember past times when this depot hosted trains of about 4million people on their way to the seaports to board ships to USA. Of course there´s time for grillwurstl, cake and coffee, and we´ll do some more of our country rail-roads songs. So, if you´re somewhere near in the Luneburg heathland, just join us at the Ebstorf(Kr. Uelzen) depot, and You can even ride the America Line and come by train ;-) Nice week to You all - Reb

I got to thank You for listening and promoting my songs, with the "Finger Lakes Railway" at current campaign, and "America Line" before, this feels great to get the band together to try something new and hopefully write and produce a new song! You know, it´s all for the fans we do it - besides having fun strumming the guitar and hammering the keyboard and drums - so without You making music could not really work!
