Hi and thanks to everyone who has subscribed since my last update, I really appreciate you listening to my music!!

I'm not here to sell anything, all my music is free to download, I'm on here to share it with as many people as possible.

I just posted a new song to N1M, "You can hold your head high" which is very different to the others I've posted so far. It's nearly ten minutes long, and a progressive soft rock tune that I wrote and recorded over the last week. It's a soldier's story - I guess you'd say it was in some ways a love song, in other ways about the horrors of war and what it does to the soldiers and their loved ones. I want to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who has listened to and added my music since I joined N1M a few weeks ago, and especially to everyone who has helped make "Hey hello" number one in the (expired link). funk chart this week!! The best inspiration to create music is knowing you can say what you feel in a song and then share it with others, and it's cool to know that people are listening.

Thanks so much for subscribing to my page on Number One Music. I'm not on the site to sell anything, just to share my music with as many people as possible. I write my songs for me, because they touch me in some way, because they make me feel something. If they touch other people too, then that's where I get my reward for sharing them, and that's worth a lot more to me than anything I would get from CD sales or whatever.

Whilst I have been a full-time pro musician in the past, now I just do it for my love of music, and writing songs. I play keys and guitar, and I use software synthesisers for the rest - drums, bass and other instruments. I don't use any loops or sampled music - everything you hear is played by me, recorded, mixed and produced as well as I can do it. No pro production involved, just a software studio set-up.

I've had three songs on here for a few weeks, and I've been really surprised by how many people have listened to and liked my tracks, so I decided to subscribe to the site and upload some more of my songs.

This new song - finished three days ago - is a slow jazz-funk vocal tune, and although I don't normally do love songs, well, it's diffficult to describe it as anything else. Hope you like it, if you get a chance to listen.

Thanks again for subscribing - any feedback you want to give me to help me do things better will always be welcome. And anything you hear that you want to share, that's fine by me.
