This music wraps the energy of rock and roll around the truth of the Bible. The band fluently mixes bluesy classic rock with many modern rock sounds. Chris (guitar, vocal) and co-writer Dave McGraw (bass) have been songwriters for years, gigging and recording in many secular groups in the DFW area. Chris, after coming to a trust that Jesus Christ was indeed who he claimed to be, set out on a journey to seek the will of the one and only God. Dave, around this same time, came to a new commitment to Christ, having already been a Christian. They then set out to write new material that declared their faith that the Holy Scriptures are indeed accurate AND relevant. These songs here are only a few selections of their many works. Chris and Dave have a long history of writing and playing music together and also playing in many separate bands as well. Drummer Mark Pierson contributed greatly to the music, spirit, and the fellowship that was born out of these recordings. Mike Stevens was a big help with a second guitar on some live performances, as was Shane Bell. Richard Baird and Genta Hataoka contributed to some of the bass work as well.
Chris and his wife Christie serve in the music team at Hope Church in Ft. Worth Texas (hopechurch.com). Mark and his family are also a part of Hope Church. Dave teaches youth at Puerta Abierta Baptist Church in Grand Prairie, Tx.
Dedicated to growing as doers of the Word and not simply just knowing it and singing about it, these guys continue to move into the future day by day seeking and trusting their Creator, the one who gives us all music as well as an abundance of other gifts.
