Boom, dropped into a classic rock track with a heaped spoonful of quality. The 1st thing that grabs you is the quality of the recording. All the care has been taken of ever instrument and their sonic value. Many layers of awesome have been layered to make this song sound like a proper classic rock track. Multi vocals over sweet guitar tracks with rolling drums. Iron Maiden flavour with a hint of Marilion and you've got it all. Ding Dong sir ! less

Olay tells us an engaging story about live and the development of events beyond personal control, regarded as determined by a rough power. The songtext comes from the heart and touches the soul, but the whole composition is more various. There are virtuos played acoustic guitars which making the introducing in this wonderful arrangement. They also carrying the whole recording with nice tunes. You will hear brilliant strings in the backround making this composition complete. This is a extra factor what brings really feeling into the song. The refrain is clear and makes the meaning of the song engaging for me. This recording is definitely professional and very creative, influenced by folk and pop perfect arranged. I can feel the meaning of this wondeful ballad regardless of the language (the lyrics are added in English translation) and I´m sure, you will like to add it. Let others know your recommendation. less

But it also reflects today's youthful exuberance. When you've got barnstorming beats blended with street-level hooks - the first three words of the hook alone let you know what it's all about within the streets of where she's from - you know you're listening to a raw talent. It sounds like everything currently getting trashed by the self-proclaimed "gatekeepers" of hip hop: hustler, lashings of gangsterism, repetitive hook, simplistic flow patterns, repetitive, not "trapped in the 90s" etc. But this is for the new fans of the game. The three main strengths: rock solid instrumentals; infuriatingly catchy hook; and acceptable rhymes. For my money, Ladii Tii could possibly get a little regular rotation in the deck as I whip corners. This is song that will fit right in the pocket and work well in today's market. The beat is right in the cut with what the majority of the consumers are buying and the lyrical content is also what today's youth appears to want to hear. The ladies should dig the flow, the fellas should dig the content, and the DJ's should have no problem mixing it into the next song. Give it a good listen and see for yourself! less

    Thoughts on "You're The Reason"

It has a classic pop flavor with a sassy guitar backing up the song as it moves along. The drum/bass/rhythm guitar mix is right in where needs to be - again nice to the ears. The lead vocals are warm and easy to listen to, and the chorus is joyful and easy to join in with as it goes over and over with the words "You're the reason"... Very catchy - a great hook, and not a disappointment when it arrives.

The dynamics of this song, with the crescendo, and then coming back down for the vocals to become more prominent , make the verses/lyrics that much more fun to listen to. As the song flows along it leads you into the refrain "I need you", with background voices taking the song up and up! As the song comes back down, the lead voice takes us home with the final verse leading to a grand chorus ... No real surprises here, but this arrangement still works well and is ear candy for sure.

The only thing I would suggest is a little more cutting lead guitar somewhere in the song at the end of a verse or chorus as a short interlude leading to the next part - that would have made the song a little more edgy. The vocals on the "I need you" parts were a little on the soft side, they should come up and be more powerful! Perhaps a little organ sound as the song fades out or some guitar licks trailing off would have been the finishing touches on this wonderful song. That being said, this is a good song, and fun to listen to from beginning to end.

Thanks for sharing such a well crafted song with all of us. I love your voice and your song!

I was hesitant to review but after listening, this is solid kick-butt good music here. Taking a classical piece that is so well-known and marrying it to a classic rock piece that is so well-known, you guys slay it. I hope you have a whole album of this stuff because it's awesome. Great job, I really have no criticisms to offer, because there are none. This is great. less
