    my Rocky Mountain recollections too

This song has that ability to transcend geography to person. I had the same feeling when visiting the Austrian Alps and playing songs at Hotel Solaria and other places using borrowed guitars. The ties that bind are the songs that relate those feelings of belonging and somehow the mountains bring out those thoughts strong enough to write about. It is genuine and honest in lyric and tempo with dobro and brushes makes me smell the cool crisp freshness that is mountain country. less

I suppose that it is more because of the overall vibe than any specific thing. I have limited understanding of spanish, so I couldn't understand anything other than a few key words. It's theme is a bit repetitive actually. I enjoyed the mix choices, and the space it put my head in. I was imagining being on a beach in mexico, tequila, margarita, and cervesa all within reach. I wanted to hear this music while having those drinks. Make of that what you will. less

    That's a Hit!

So when I first started listening at "hit and run" I was immediatly captured by the nice drums, bass, guitar and harp work. Vocal parts are well tought and arranged, and when the hammond comes out behind everything, it's a joy to listen at the whole thing.
Guitar solo too is just as it should be, I can't say there's something that should pe played or arranged in a different or better way. I just want to play the track on my speakers, again and again, and every time I can notice a new detail which I love.
Only suggestion on my part is to have the song mastered in a lil different way, with a lil more push. Anyway, you did it GREAT!

This song has a funky groove from jump. And the "flute" sound along with the hand clapping sets the tone for this song of praise! Love it.

The vocals are easy to follow, and the lyrics profound in their utter simplicity. A child or senior can join in with no problem, and that makes this song a crowd pleaser to the max. This is a great song to get everyone up and praising God - anytime - anywhere.

The back and forth banter as the lead singer talks to the band members is a nice place to bring it down, and then take it back up and out! That short talk and the quoting of 1JN.4:19 makes this song extra special - and powerful! The laughing and background talking makes the song sound live and exciting. Great arrangement and creativity...

Overall, I have to say this song was just pure fun to listen to, (Ear Candy) of the 1st class. This is a righteous song top to bottom. The band's funky - bouncy rhythm makes you want to get up and dance to the Lord. This is one special song! The only thing that might have spiced it up would have been a stronger exit - guitar/piano, and maybe some guitar jamming as the song faded, and perhaps a little more vocal pizzazz going home.

Thanks for sharing such a fantastic song with all of us. Keep writing and singing your songs - they're wonderful!!
