Musicians did a good job supporting the singer in this solid organic sounding recording. Some smooth harmonies fill in the last section of the song and it's quite nice. Katrina performs with conviction and passion. I would love to hear the record in a new light if it was brought up to radio by a great record producer who could recognize what is needed to elevate the vocal to the polished sound that radio would embrace. But even with this, Katrina brought this in nicely. I look forward to hearing more from this talented artist.

This song has that ability to transcend geography to person. I had the same feeling when visiting the Austrian Alps and playing songs at Hotel Solaria and other places using borrowed guitars. The ties that bind are the songs that relate those feelings of belonging and somehow the mountains bring out those thoughts strong enough to write about. It is genuine and honest in lyric and tempo with dobro and brushes makes me smell the cool crisp freshness that is mountain country.
