Dig the whisper tones too, this was really fun to listen to and if I heard you out I would stop and listen. I’m not really sure exactly what you are saying because it’s in a different language but music is the universal language and rock is my thing and you do it right!

Cathrine beginns with her unique vocal and it seems she will going on like this. But you will be far from this. The whole composition from Gerald O-Connell is more various. Versatile beat in the chorus makes the song rich and brings the listener on the next level. Melodies are played with sloping e-guitar sounds. All sounding really like post-punk music at his best. The impressive lyrics of this song are close to poetry. But why do I tell this? The songwriter gives us an expression of feelings and ideas by the use of distinctive style and rhythm. This isn´t mainstream or contemporary music. This is a really extraordinary composition from a very talented musican. I like the style and esspecially the sound. Everybody will hear why you're N1M. Love your music ;-)

As many of you know from my own music I love the idea of ambient and emotionally engaging music, Dr. Fred Cole manages to deliver that with his instrumental "Mausoleum". Sparse yet beautifully arranged Mausoleum is so satisfying on so many levels. It starts out very minimal which really sets up the listener for an amazing musical odyssey. By the halfway point, the track picks up in "intensity" and continues to compel the listener in a most pleasing and interesting way. From a performance perspective, Dr. Fred Cole nails it. The track is subtly intricate while never losing sight of its humble beginnings. The cascading runs and sonically complex harmony never become extraneous or over-wrought, instead they continue to build in such a way that keeps the music metaphorically moving forward, in a word, I was riveted for nine and half minutes while never becoming bored, not an easy thing to do when your track is over nine minutes long. From a production perspective the recording is really well done, the piano maintains a very rich tonal quality without becoming tinny or brittle, I'd be interested in knowing whether this was a real piano with a mic or was part of a sample library, either way it matters not because the recording is mint and only adds to the overall ambience of the track. This is a stellar track with killer production and unparalleled compositional value. Perfect for any occasion when you just want a little introspective quiet time. Dr. Cole, I salute you sir, this track was amazing, thank you :) XXXChristopher CarrionXXX

I give this song a five star but I have to deduct .5 for the quality of the recording, which is really the only issue I have with this tune. Love you voice and the vocal melodies. all the instrumentation are well written and performed. It sounds like you guys know how to right a good song! MAKE MORE... --- now, on to these mixing issue I have... Not sure if you recorded and mixed this yourself or not, NO OFFENSE INTENDED. If I can make a suggestion would be to have your mixer/engineer learn a bit more about how to properly use a equalizer. The vocals have a bit too much 8-10k that screams when you hit the Dear God on the chorus. There are some wonderful videos on youtube that can help get a better grasp to even out the mixes. --- Also the volume levels throughout the song jump up and down. Leveling a Track is something else I recommend learning to do well also. even out volume through the whole track section by section. Sometimes you even need to copy, say, a guitar part or something and paste that section to a separate track to give that part/lower section a little volume boost to even out that part of the tune. Hope this can help. Youtube has a boatload of great mixing and recording videos that can help you learn whatever you need to learn. Cheers to you guy! Break a Leg! Boomer
