I like this and your voice has a feel of Aaron Neville and Rod Stewart in one. I think your delivery is very good in this song. I think Ray Charles would be very proud and honored of your rendition. It was a true pleasure to listen to this version. Awesome job!!! less

The EQ is fine, if that's the case, because that's what you were going for, yeah? So.

Good use of the keys in the background to fill up the scoop left out of the guitar sound. The twin leads worked pretty well together, especially right before the Iron Maiden-esque breakdown about three quarters of the way through. I wish that part was a little longer. Nobody wants to do any derivative stuff, but those parts are great.

Good structure. Even though it was almost seven minutes long, I never found myself waiting for the song to end. Even through the cookie-monster bits, which I'm not really a fan of. This is pretty nicely put together. If I had any constructive criticism, it might be to make the lead a bit less harsh. At high volumes, and especially on headphones, it kind of cut through my head. If you're not using the neck pickup on that, try it. less
