Charlie has been out of the limelight for some time now. However, he has recently come back to music with renewed vigour and a new album on Medicine Hat Records - Wasted and Wounded, to much acclaim.

Whilst Charlie was described some years ago by the Belfast Telegraph as "a sort of Tom Paxton, Luke Kelly and Billy Connolly rolled into one", today his engaging laid back style is more Americana; an amalgam of folk music formed by the confluence of the shared and varied traditions and sounds that are merged from folk, country, blues, rhythm and blues, rock and roll and other external influences.
