Cathy has a beautiful voice, a big range and a delicate but strong sound! This rendition of LOVE IS HOME sounds commercial, peaceful, uplifting and easy to sing along with. Lyrically the English and French lyrics create a world vibe and add to the easy listening quality. The vamp at the end, repeating the title name, gives a fun and happy vibe. I could easily hear this while taking a long drive or doing the dishes as the music accompanies my own thoughts. The tune is warm, upbeat and enjoyable to listen too. It is also not too demanding of the listener, which is nice when you are just daydreaming and need a break from thinking about our troubled world. The arrangement and the band sound great, professional and accompany the voice perfectly. Kudos to the engineer as well who makes a great mix! Thanks Cathy for a great recording!!

Nicely arranged tune sung in French with the refrain/chorus phrase "Love Is Home" sung in English. The arrangement reminded me of 60's or 70's grand orchestrated Euro type arrangement with strings and brass voicings with a little pep in the beat during the intro and the climax of the song. The tune is intelligently arranged where the music builds well. IMHOP the performance sounds like it could have served as a title song to a Francis Lai movie from the era I mentioned previously. The singer has a lovely voice. Fine performance. Perhaps an effort at a nostalgic sound.
