WHERE WE COME FROM SET FREE ENT has been created for the glory of God! What started out as a dream has taken many different roads and has landed on God's doorstep. Carmine The Pheonix, the owner of SET FREE ENT, started making music in 2002. He quickly became infatuated with the writing of lyrics and the way it made him feel. It was a means to breathe, a vent if you will. In 2004, he came across a producer with a studio and started recording music under the label Baggin It Up Ent. In 2005 his two cousins and he started a group called K.O.K. or King of Kings. They did shows in Cleveland, Ohio, Steubenville, Ohio, Weirton, West Virginia, and Wheeling, West Virginia, opening up for Paul Wall, Mims, Jag The Appostle, and Mini Thin to name a few. In 2006, Carmine The Pheonix started recording under a new label by the name of 740 Studios out of Mingo Junction, Ohio. While working on mixtapes he met and joined the group who called themselves the Ghost Smokers. With G.S. he featured on multiple mixtapes and also put out his own mixtape titled "Daily Struggles". In 2009, He started to teach himself how to record, mix, and master his own music. By doing this he was able to master his craft and find his full potential. This also gave him more flexability as far as time spent writing and recording. After 2 years of doing this he was ready.... Or so he thought. Now lets fast forward quite a few years. In 2015, Carmine The Pheonix was drawn to something that was well out of his control and at the time couldn't explain why. Church. He started seeking God's answers to questions he didn't even know he had and in turn things started to make sense. Since then he has changed his life in ways he never would've imagined were possible, and has made a vow to use his God given talent to proclaim glory for the Lord in all aspects of his life. I first and foremost would like to thank you for taking an interest in my music on (expired link)!! With out fans like yourself who love and share artists' music, none of this would be possible. I have recently started my own indie record label, SET FREE ENTERTAINMENT, and would like to personally invite you to our new website at (expired link) God has been doing amazing things in my life and opening my eyes very wide to a multitude of different things, many of which I would like to share with YOU and the world for the glory of God! Which is exactly why I named my album that will be released to the public on March 25th "For The Glory of God"! Dear Carmine The Pheonix subscribers,
First and foremost I would like to thank everyone of you for supporting Carmine The Pheonix. It has been a long road to get to where I am but by the grace of God the journey has begun. I have recently started my own record label "Set Free Entertainment LLC" and am in the process of releasing my new album "For The Glory Of God". I have put up three new tracks that will not be on the album list but are sure to not disappoint. Please check them out and leave your comments to let me know what you think. I would like to apologize to those that had the other songs saved in their favorites. I hope that you can understand that God has given me a new path and this is the direction we are now going. God is good! I am still in the process of making my new album which will be titled "For The Glory Of God". I still have a good amount of work to do but a man working diligently to get it done. In the mean time I have a collaboration song I did and would like to share but I can only put up 3 songs at a time on here. I just wanted to first and foremost thank everyone for checking out my music and secondly let you all know that God is good and he is doing amazing things in my life and amazing music is coming really soon!! Thank you all for supporting the movement and definitely stay tuned!
I just wanted to reach out to everyone who has supported Carmine The Pheonix!! I have so much more music in progress right now and would like to share something with you all. I have been touched to the core of my soul lately with such an inspiring message. The message is: A vast majority of music today serves in corrupting our youth, mine included up to this point. As a father of four, i feel the need to start a new journey in my life and encourage others to do the same. From this moment on I will use my God given talents to make inspiring positive and uplifting music. Not only for the younger generation but also for the adults in my generation that haven fallen along the way. Thank you again for your support, and I can promise this change will not take away from the value of the music to come and will hold the same talent and awe inspiring lyrics that have brought you all to be fans.
