Well hello there!
Rach here,
I can definitely say on behalf of Bound by Hound that we're so so so happy for the support that you've all shown us since we joined up only days ago! Happy dances all round for the love that our new single 'You Knew' has received! We recorded this track a couple of months ago with our pal Jake of 'Inventions' (awesome band, check em out) over at Inventions Studios in Melbourne, and we couldn't be happier with the result. We're hoping this track can give us the kick start that we need to make ourselves known in the current music scene, and that you guys can help us make that happen! You'll notice over on our Facebook page that You Knew isn't being officially released for another 4 days, but we thought that you guys should get a little preview before we unleash it upon the masses!

About Bound by Hound
After playing music together throughout high school, Luke (guitar), Conor (drums) and Luke (bass) have always loved jamming together in the small town of Lara, in Conor’s cramped band/bed room. After working on a number of different band projects throughout 2010-11, the dudes decided to get serious and start writing with lead singer Rachel. They then built up a decent repertoire and recorded a few demos over the summer of 2012 in Rach’s lounge room. With the addition of their newest member Lachlan, the band smashes out regular gigs in their home town of Geelong, whilst taking on the Melbourne scene, playing the likes of the Cherry Bar, the Espy, the John Curtain and the Bendigo Hotel. The bunch have just had their first go in a proper studio and are on the cusp of releasing their second single off the back of 'Jaimee's Song', and are super excited to see where this next song takes them.
With influences such as the Smashing Pumpkins, Four Year Strong, Fidlar and Paramore, Bound by Hound's sound can be described as having a Grunge Rock edge similar to that of Violent Soho, with a taste of punk pop and Alt. rock coming from bands like Tonight Alive and You Me At Six. BBH are known to have an explosive live performance, love to support local bands, and are ready for some new adventures!
