This was the day, March 19, 1982...that i realized, Gods, in fact...can die. Randy Rhoads, changed my life...his style, abilities, and demeanor showed me that there is hope. Hope for just some kid stuck in his room all day, listening to my favorite front-man's new band...the front-man who changed my life with Black Sabbath. Of course i am referring to John " Ozzy " Osbourne. Who knows what would have happened to Ozzy, had it not been for Randy's amazing presence, and song-writing skills, who along with bassist Bob Daisley, shaped what was to become Ozzy's comeback and subsequent rise to even greater fame than he'd had with Sabbath. Randy was, and is a God among mortals...his legacy helped to shape the skills of many, many people in the music world...and his legacy continues today...he will live on in the hearts of all he touched with his grace, and his playing will stand forever as a beacon as to what one can achieve.
