|  |  |  |  |  |  | | | | | | Bio of the Artist | Formerly known as “Capitan Blood”, Blood was formed on early 1999, being their main influences bands like Oomph, Rammstein, Turmion Katilot, Paradise lost, Depeche Mode or Tristania, to name just a few
At the beginning of 2001 they release their first album “0.08 atm”, with Dinamo Records. With this album the band began to attract attention and performed in some concerts around the country
At the same time they record a couple of covers; One was a very particular versiono of "hermano rock and roll" for a tribute album to Baron Rojo, probably the best spanish Metal band of all time and also a cover, in spanish, of rammstein’s "wollt ihr das bett in flamen sehen ?" for a tribute album to the german band that was never released
During some time, the band suffered different changes in their formation and finally became a trio, after some adjustmet period they go into studio to record their second album “Psike”, in 2004
As and advance of the new project, 3 of the songs are made available in internet and they hit the road the long Psike Tour . At the same time, they keep the search for record company able to live up to the band´s expectations. They sign with Goi Music and “Psike” is released in late 2005 as a double CD, one of them with remixes and a video clip for the song “Conciencia”. The albums means a step forward for the band and “Psike Tour” feels like a complete success.
With hardly a rest after the tour, in may 2006 they go again into the recording of an EP with the name G.E.N, recorded in Alicante. This work includes 3 unreleased songs, some remixes and a new video clip, "Orgasmatick”, G.E.N. has been remasterised by Alex Krull (Atrocity) in the german studios "Master Sound".
In september 2006, they start the "G.E.N.etic tour" and, in december, G.E.N.hits the stores. This tour will take them not only around Spain, but also some european countries. This EP has been distributed in Potugal by "White Zone Records"
In 2008 Blood has released their latest album, Seppuku. Visual sonora records in charge of the edition and Mutant-e Records for the promotion and distribution. This release means once agan a solid step forward for the band, who, in this case, counts with the colaboration of Skaner, keyboards from the chilean band Replica, who is in charge of the sequences and base of the album
Blood introduces in this album some changes, although remarking their Industrial Metal evolution. A new video clip (Gotika) is included as well as remixes from the G.E.N. EP, performed by bands like Turmion Katilot (Finland), the bulgarian Animassacre, or the mentioned Replica .
Currently the band is about to start the tour for this album, which will take them again all around Spain and abroad.
Shortly see the light in Spain, the U.S. label BLC Productions seppuku is interested and decides to sign the band. This filing will result in the special issue seppuku, a disc with new remixes, all subjects of seppuku and the 3 main themes of the EP GEN
In this way from now on disc the band can be found by France, Germany, Canada, Russia, USA, ...
LIVE PERFORMANCE:
Blood’s live performances are accompanied by a very personal staging, not only centered in the Sound aspect but the visual too, to which they pay much attention
So far, the band has performed live more tha 200 times, taking part in festivals like“Rock machina festival”, “Existence festival” and many others, sharing the stage with world class bands like Tristania, Tiamat, Duff, Bruce dickinson, Garden of Delight, Unheiling, And One ,Leave eyes and more | | |
