When we recorded the John Prine classic, Angel from Montgomery, we were inspired by the Bonnie Raitt version but wanted to add our own touches. The result? A three part harmony blend to kick off the song with some great guitar work by Kevin Hahn to add spirit, as the harmonies--and humor--continue throughout the tune. It was a fun record to make, just the two of us, Kevin and me, adding instrumentation to my vocal harmonies. GO ahead and sample it. Love to know what you think.
