The spider's lesson….. "Watch your rock hit the pond , ripples to all sides. Grandmother spins the web of life, listen to the spider's lesson we are all a part of the web we are a part of them, hear the message."
Face The Wind. Here is some meaning behind this song. The hook goes, " Grandfather Wind I must face you now, I am that I am nothing holds me down. Grandmother Rain cleanse me of my pain, I welcome in the change , nothing stays the same." So what is wind? It is great emotion but it is wise as it helps us grow when we face it. Grandmother Rain is that Motherly Compassion needed to gain understanding from tough changes and transitions. That Compassion that heals us. To welcome in change is very strange because we are taught to fear it,so it makes you courageous when you face it.
There is a part of the song that speaks about death and how we can be taken off of this planet at any moment. To use that knowing as a tool to let go of petty things and find the Beauty in life. All of these songs have messages based on spiritual teachings and experiences I have received from my elders. It is a joy to share these songs these prayers with you. namaste -Bill
