About Stix Taylor

It became obvious at the tender age of four while growing up on the south side of Chicago that music would be Stix Taylor’s passion. Being a self-taught professional drummer and music producer, Stix started touring around the (expired link) and Canada with various bands for several years. While playing with a number of musicians and bands over the years Stix received a great deal of satisfaction knowing that his musical talents were not limited to just playing live instruments.

After building his own studio Stix was able to afford himself the opportunity to create tracks and work with various artist on multiple projects including music arrangements and vocal recording. He built a catalog that represents his knowledge of various styles and genres of music that he himself plays.

Thankfully, Stix has a lot of musical influences that have been mentors throughout his musical journey that has helped him to stay focused throughout the years. Without hesitation, his Dad was his biggest inspiration musically. His father is a professional bass player that allowed his son to express himself musically and believed in his ability to play and appreciate music as Stix grew into his profession.

Stix Taylor is currently the drummer for one of Las Vegas’s top local bands “In-A-Fect”. When they are not performing locally or on the road, Stix’s time is dedicated to continuously cranking out music and adding to his growing catalog.

Dedication and hard work have been Stix’s focus on this journey he is on. He hopes that his creativeness and passion inspires and encourages others to believe in themselves and make their dreams come true.
