Bonnie Gail Lorenzen
Raised on a dairy farm in Bluemont, Virginia I was obessed with music from the start. My mother's brothers were all musicians and we always had alot of music at my grandmothers house. In high school Music was my favorite class and got to sing in front of my entire school during Holidays. I sang in my church choir. My Uncle,Raymond Riley had his own band called "The Loudoun Travelers" in Loudoun County, Virginia. In High School I sang in the choir, and my church choir in North Fork, Virginia. My mother loved music and loved to dance. She always kept the radio loud with Country Music. She loved Conway Twitty. I wrote my 1st Song called "New York City" at 8 years old and my 2nd song was called "Tell Me No Lies" In 1995 I wrote "I'm Just A Country Boy" and about 25 other songs that year. My 1st CD "Lovers Storybook" has a great Hillbilly Rock taste and alot of Love songs. My 2nd CD is called "My Country Roots" has some great songs that will bring Tears or a Smile! One of my favorites songs I wrote is about my American Saddlebred "Splendid's Last Creation SF". This song is called "My Saddlebred" . He was my friend and my companion or as we horse folks call it my "GO TO" horse for 23 years. We spent hours upon hours on the trails and I have so many great memories. Also on this CD is my 1st Alternative Rock song called "Dracula's Girl". Are you ready to get SPOOKED??? Read my Short Story I wrote about "Dracula's Girl available on Amazon and LuLu.
