Brian LaFave: Rhythm Guitars and Vocals It all started for me in 1986 when I first heard the band Metallica’s Master Of Puppets Album this is when I decided I was going to play guitar and sing. I wasn’t much into learning covers more into writing my own music. But unfortunately by the time I was old enough to play out in bars the metal scene went under ground and hip hop and grunge ruled the world. The music that I write is influence by band like Metallica, Disturbed, Slayer, and Five Finger Death Punch. The idea I have with the music that I wrote is to try to bring back the Old School Metal music from the 80s. The band name came from a friend back in the (expired link) and him were jamming one day and realize that our band needs a name so my friend went to his grandfathers house to look in this german dictionary that he had for cool band names he went through the book and found a word that read archfiend it means the devil we thought that was cool. So we decided to call the band Archfiend. The members now are Tom Davis; Drums, Jason Keswick; Bass, Tony Manitowabi; Lead Guitar, And me Brian LaFave; Rhythm Guitar and Vocals.
Tom Davis: is the drummer for Archfiend.
Tom Davis: I am a drummer I’ve been playing drums for about 20 years .My influences are Living and dead. Like most drummers my biggest influences are extraordinary players. My living idol is Neil Peart, my dead idol is John Bonham. I pattern my playing after the thrash metal icons of my youth like Slayer, Testament, overkill, and Megadeath. I Try to put a little of all my musical influences in the music I play. The biggest thing for me is to play Archfiend’s Music in front of Thousands of people someday.
Jason Keshick: is the bass player for Archfiend.
Jason Keshick: I love playing live music My influences are AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Ozzy, Cliff Burton, Geezer Butler ,Steve Harris, and Jason Newsted. I’ve been playing bass for about 25 years now and still learning .I love Funk ,Blues, Jazz, Punk, Metal, and Grunge. The roots of my aggressive style of playing came from a feeling from the heart and sole and a lot of hours of playing in cover bands like Ironic
Tony Manitowabi : is the Lead Guitar Player for Archfiend
Anthony Manitowabi : I was born in 1988 in MI. Started playing guitar it 17 years old, I got my first guitar on my 18Th birthday. Very quickly became obsessed with learning everything I could about playing guitar, started with tablature. After 2 or 3 years, I decided to learn theory behind making music-chords, scales, etc. I am always learning new things and always trying to improve my playing. learning to play guitar has been the best choice I’ve ever made, and it never gets old My mane influences are bands like Metallica ,and Joe Satriani.
