Applespacebar is a new band from Birmingham, Alabama in the United States, featuring guitarist/composer Ben Trexel and vocalist/lyricist Johnny Nine. Both accomplished solo artists in their own right, Applespacebar is a new band from Birmingham, Alabama in the United States, featuring guitarist/composer Ben Trexel and vocalist/lyricist Johnny Nine. Both accomplished solo artists in their own right, Trexel and Nine are very excited to combine their talents for this unique project to reach even larger audiences with their accessible yet original sound. Applespacebar’s music can best be described as alternative modern rock with both melodic and hard edges. We feel that the songs will connect with the listener on many levels and invite repeated listenings. We are hoping for the opportunity to make that connection. A full length debut album, WELCOME TO THE DREAM was released on January 6, 2009 on the Tangent Music Group label.
