They are inspired by various, classic rock bands such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, KISS, AC/DC, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Whitesnake, Led Zeppelin, Ramones, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, The Georgia Satellites, The Cult, Cheap Trick, Stage Dolls, Backstreet Girls and many others.
Angie Hammer & The Nails are having fun doing what they love the most and are trying to give you, the audience, a good musical experience! They mainly do original songs, but the Live set also includes some covers. This bands is not about gimmicks, fads or trends. They believe in the power of their songs. When it comes to musical style this is first of all rock`n roll, but there`s also elements of blues, country and pop mixed into it. The main thing is just to write good songs, then people can call it what they want....
The Nails`stage performance is contagious, so if you ever come to a concert we can guarantee you`ll be infected! In 2008 they participated on the compilation album “Wings of steel-a Norwegian tribute to Stage Dolls”. Their first CD entitled “Gung Ho Or No Go” will be released on Giant Midget Rec. in May 2009. | | |
