Alium has been playing together now for just short of three years. They formed on the basis of an idea held by Mark and James. After initial drummer trouble the line up was settled. Alium has played gigs in Chester and Northwich area but also took part in the Crewe Live 08 Festival. Their music is best described as a twisted hybrid of punk and metal, taking the speed of punk and the rawness of metal. Alium’s main influences include bands such as Nofx, Iron Maiden, Rise Against and Trivium. Early this year Alium recorded its first cd, a 4 track Ep of the same name. Alium is incredibly enthusiastic and eager to expand its fan base and is willing at every opportunity to get gigs and spread its name. |
