She developed her musical style from listening to greats like Nat King Cole, Beres Hammond, Marcia Griffits, Bob Marley, Sanchez and many other talented musicians. Due to her love for the music growing much deeper, she began exploring the field of music to a greater passion and went on to record her first song at the age of 10yrs old with her group TASHELALI “Schools”. They made their mark by performing in various talent shows in and around their neighborhood, They finally got their big break after coming in first place in the “Jamaican Tastes Talent Search”, but went on to separate due to its members migrating to various locations. Ali continued to pursue her career as a reggae artist in the States and joined forces with Beatmania Productions and K.P.G.M records to become an even greater force to be reckoned with, dismantling all stage shows with her powerful anthems like “Bus Gun, Tsunami, & Problems” whether it be on tour or in the N.Y.C. area. Ali shows that she can perform with better know artist like “Baby Sham”, “Macca Diamond”, and “Alliza” and still has the crowd’s attention.
