About Alexandria Lintner

Alexandria Lintner is a powerful country, rock&blues singer. She writes, records, and performs from the heart. When she was little she was moved from home to home due to a lot of family issues. Her mother was abusive and was taken from her when she was only 5 years old. She went and lived with her father and step-mother, but when her father started drinking again when Alexandria was just 15, she reached out to her mother who now lived in Tennessee. Alexandria started writing letters to her mother and was convinced that she was a changed person. Alexandria's mother did not have parental rights in Michigan, but could have them in Tennessee. She moved down to Tennessee with her mother, and not even 5 months later did she end up in the hospital. From there, her father and step-mother came and picked her up and moved out to Las Vegas, Nevada. Her father's drinking got worst so she ran away and met a couple that took her in under their wings. These people she called her parents for a while and they opened her world to music. Both her mother and father sang and played instruments. Although Alexandria loved the music and having a family that was sort of real, there were a lot of problems inside that family with drinking and suicide attempts. At 18 years old, she moved back to Michigan and went to college and started her own life. She had joined a cover band named Three Whisker Betty who she still performs with today. Alexandria sings in multiple covers bands across Detroit and she writes her own music. "Music is what got me through my troubles, I held on because when I sang I could feel something real, something that I loved and it loved me back," Alexandria quotes. Alexandria's father Robert Lintner passed away from liver failure a few years ago, but she loved him dearly. "Everyone has their own troubles and their own ways to cope. Although my father drank a lot, he was an amazing father, and I loved him with my whole heart." Alexandria is now married and has a beautiful family with a daughter, Thalia, and her step-son, Riley. "My children are everything to me, and growing up not having a stable life with a stable childhood drives me to be the best mother for my children. It makes me motivated with my music, because I want to teach them that no matter what complications your life can bring you, you can always pull through the storm and still reach for the stars."
